The R2PRIS course aims to enhance practitioners’ skills to prevent and reduce the risk of radicalisation and violent extremism inside prisons.

This innovative training programme certifies professionals at different levels of the prison administration in the use of tools to identify, interpret, evaluate and report signals of radicalisation, including the approaches to respond appropriately to potentially vulnerable individuals at risk of radicalisation.

This course prepares Prison Governors to work with the ‘Helicopter View’, an organisational risk assessment tool to reflect and assess situational dimensions in preventing radicalisation and identifying the strategies and action plans that need to be implemented. This tool is targeted to be used in a facilitated session by prison system administrators and prison governors and their management teams aiming to assess radicalisation situational risk factors.

Certified professionals will be able to work with the R2PRIS Radicalisation Prevention Toolset.
